Pretty in Pink Part Two

You may recall I conveyed my passion for Pink a few weeks back with the blog post here. So, imagine my delight as I turned through the pages of the march issue of HouseBeautiful. The entire issue is dedicated to Pink!! And let me tell you, if you haven't picked it up yet, you should. The cover image is what sold me straight away. I am pretty bold with my color choices, but I'm not sure I would ever have considered this color for a living room seating area. Here, it works flawlessly, combined with sunny yellow and touches of blue. And the coffee table...LOVE!

 The issue is also chock full of fun pink accessories for your home, georgeous pink rooms that run the gamut from palest ballerina pink, to outrageously bright fuschia and even a very entertaining article on the 'Six Degrees of Pink,' in which the writer riffs on the pop culture social game 'The Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon.' Do yourself a favor and get this magazine! You won't be sorry.

Tucson Home Magazine Feature

Since I'm so new to this, I'm just going to start posting stuff, and see where it takes me.  About a year and a half ago, I entered a contest sponsored by a local lifestyle magazine and ended up winning the Grand Prize!  See the article here:http://www.tucsonhomemag.com/diy/diyawards2009.html  It was an amazing experience, unfortunately my husband filed for divorce at almost the same time I'd found out I won.  Talk about highs and lows!!  It knocked me off my feet for a while, but now I'm back up and ready to take this thing on!  With my recent trip to New York to be on The Nate Berkus Show, I think I'm on my way!  (more about "the Nate Experience" later!)
