Pretty in Pink Part Two

You may recall I conveyed my passion for Pink a few weeks back with the blog post here. So, imagine my delight as I turned through the pages of the march issue of HouseBeautiful. The entire issue is dedicated to Pink!! And let me tell you, if you haven't picked it up yet, you should. The cover image is what sold me straight away. I am pretty bold with my color choices, but I'm not sure I would ever have considered this color for a living room seating area. Here, it works flawlessly, combined with sunny yellow and touches of blue. And the coffee table...LOVE!

The issue is also chock full of fun pink accessories for your home, georgeous pink rooms that run the gamut from palest ballerina pink, to outrageously bright fuschia and even a very entertaining article on the 'Six Degrees of Pink,' in which the writer riffs on the pop culture social game 'The Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon.' Do yourself a favor and get this magazine! You won't be sorry.

I loved this issue too -- i don't have any pink in my house, nor an appropriate place for it given the existing colors... but i'm thinking of painting the inside of all the closets a nice rosy color! Love your blog, just became a follower. Would love you to drop by mine and give me your thoughts on some of my own design attempts...

Pink...I love pink...not a speck of it in my decor. Although I am trying to convince my daughter to go for a pink room (she's three a jelly belly should do the trick). GORGEOUS photos...I really would love a pink I am thinking! Thanks for stopping by 504 Main. I am a new follower.
