Is Bigger Better?

I am always changing things around at my house. Sometimes I like the result, sometimes it goes back the same exact way it was! And then there are the rare times I can't decide......That's where you, dear reader come in. I need your opinion on whether or not bigger IS better. I'm talking tables, of course! Here is a corner of my living room with the table that WAS there (which incidentally, I found in an alley!)

I like it just fine, but in a fit of re-arranging, I ended up with this in it's place.......

Now I can't decide which one I like better! Is the bigger, darker and chunky table better (which, incidentally, I found on the side of the road with a sign taped to it 'For Sale $25' and a phone number.....I called) or is the round, lighter pedestal base table a better shape? Let me know what YOU think. Thanks for your input, and for stopping by...please consider becoming a follower!

  1. I vote for the tulip table.

I've been looking for some fake grass like that on the table. Do you remember where you found it?

  2. Thanks for your input, Judy! I got that grass about 6 years ago at Homegoods in Long Beach. The local store has similar from time to time...I'll let you know if I see any anywhere.

  3. I kind of like the bigger table better. I'm not a fan of the style of that small white table. I think the bigger dark table has much more character. :) Love your sense of style!

  4. I'm here for the Girl Creative Blog hop. I can't believe you found that curb side beauty for $25. What a steal. I say the large table, but I do think the smaller one goes better. Use what is functional for you in that space.
    Have a Great Day :)

  5. Oh I love the white table best:)
I think it keeps the space open and inviting. Plus I think the large scale blocking the seating isn't allowing both pieces to work together.

  6. I like the drama of the larger table...if less is more than more is morer!

  7. I like the white table, just because it's white. I think the dark table is much cooler, but blends in with the floor too much.

I just found your blog and am really enjoying it. Thanks.
